Graphic Design History - Site Redesign
For this project, we needed to recreate a part of a website but in the style of an illuminated manuscript. I chose the lineup for FunFunFunFest and recreated it in the 1400's style of Aldus Manutius. One of his characteristics is to bring the type down at an angle and I wanted to recreate that since there is a lot of hierarchy treatment needed for a lineup of bands.

Advance Typography - Weather Report
In this assignment, we used After Effects to animate a futuristic weather report. It needed to have 3 transitions so mine consisted of Location, Time, and Category. It may be abstract, but I feel I succeeded in creating a futuristic theme. I learned many After Effects skills with this project.

Typography I - Type Specimen Book
Open publication - Free publishing - More design
A type specimen book is meant to showcase a certain typeface in an appealing way. I decided to showcase the typeface Gill Sans Std for my type specimen book. Gill Sans appealed to me because of all of the different variations, even though Eric Gill didn't create all of them I later learned. Gill Sans is often referred to as the "Helvetica of England", therefore I used that as my theme for this book. Here is the book in its entirety.

Typography I - Prototype
This was my first project in Typography that dealt with creating a typeface using only a 9x9 grid for each letter. I purposely created each letter in a way that they were incomplete and not fully connected. Since the letters were almost connecting and looked futuristic, I decided to name the typeface Near Future.
